The Colby Mindfulness Club offers meditations on campus at various times each week for the Colby community. Below is the schedule for Spring 2014. No experience is necessary.

Sundays, 3:00 pm: Join Olivia Biagetti for a student-led meditation in Rose Chapel. The session begins with a passage reading, followed by thirty minutes of seated meditation, and concludes with a discussion period. The whole session is approximately a half hour long.

Tuesdays, 4:00 pm: Join Jing Ye for a guided meditation in Rose Chapel. The guided meditation is geared towards stress relief and begins with a body scan, followed by thirty minutes of seated meditation, and concludes with a brief discussion and Q&A period. The whole session is approximately an hour long.

Wednesdays, 12:20 pm: Join Jing Ye for a guided meditation in Rose Chapel. The sitting period is followed by a reflection & discussion period. The whole session is approximately a half hour long.

Thursdays, 4:00 pm: Join Peter Harris for a Zen meditation in Rose Chapel. The meditation begins with a brief introduction to Zen meditation, followed by two seated meditations, divided by a brief walking meditation section. The whole session is approximately an hour long.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am: Join Sarunas Genys and start your day off right with a half hour morning meditation in Rose Chapel.
